Bogus Basin Ski Resort
Bogus Basin Mountain Resort is a ski area located in southwest Idaho in Boise County, 16 miles north-northeast of the city of Boise.Bogus is operated by the Bogus Basin Recreation Association, a non-profit organization, on leased land in the Boise National Forest. Ski and snowboard season generally runs from Thanksgiving weekend until the weekend immediately preceding April 15, depending on snow conditions. There is also cross-country skiing on 23 miles (37 km) of Nordic trails.
Boise City Parks and Recreation
The City of Boise Parks and Recreation Department has numerous large and small neighborhood parks throughout the city. There is over 27 miles of paved path along the Boise River along with all the formal parks. Wealthy benefactors have donated large parcels of land to the community for the specific use of parks. The city Parks and Recreation Department has numerous adult summer softball leagues and other sporting functions. There are shelters in most city parks that can be reserved and rented for your summer functions. Just check on their web site for more details.

Centennial Golf Course
The 18 -hole "Centennial" course at the Centennial Golf Course facility in Nampa , Idaho features 6,499 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 68.5 and it has a slope rating of 97. Centennial golf course opened in 1988.
Cherry Lane Golf Course
This course, which expanded to eighteen holes in 1997, will test all skill levels. A canal meanders through the course and it comes into play on most holes. Mature trees line the fairways on the front nine, while younger trees run along the new back nine. Some fairways are dogleg configurations and rolling. The greens are primarily flat with little undulation. Twilight rates begin after 4 PM daily.
Crane Creek Country Club
Crane Creek Country Club was established over a quarter century ago by a group of local golf enthusiasts. Originally named Highlands Country Club while in development, Crane Creek was adopted in time for its grand opening in 1963. Golf course architect, Bob Baldock of Fresno, California, designed the 18-hole course, which is consistently rated as one of the best in Idaho.
Eagle Hills Golf Course
Yardage (Black, Blue, White, Gold): 364, 357, 305, 305 The short dogleg left has plenty of trouble with a pond left and out of bounds right. Distance is key on the second shot, because a road passes behind the green.
Fairview Municipal Golf Course
Fairview Municipal Golf Course, within the city limits of Caldwell, Idaho, has character and charm that reflects well on the city that surrounds it. This course, built in the 1930's, also has great turf. A wonderful variety of trees provides a true park-like setting and a friendly staff is willing to serve you at a well stocked Pro Shop

Foxtail Golf Course
The 18 -hole "Foxtail" course at the Foxtail Golf Course & DR facility in Meridian, Idaho features 4,031 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 61 . The course rating is 59.3 and it has a slope rating of 91. Designed by John Bohem, the Foxtail golf course opened in 1993. Todd Crocket manages the course as the Superintendent.

Pierce Park Greens
The 9 -hole "Pierce Park Greens" course at the Pierce Park Greens facility in Boise, Idaho features 900 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 27 . The course rating is 35 and it has a slope rating of 113. Designed by Dennis Labrum, the Pierce Park Greens golf course opened in 1999. Dennis Labrum manages the course as the Owner/Manager.
Purple Sage Municipal Golf Course
This course has narrow fairways that require accurate tee shots. A hook or slice off any tee could easily land you in trouble. Water hazards (ponds and water-filled ditches) come into play on at least ten holes. In addition, most of the greens are protected by deep greenside sand bunkers. "Golf Digest" rated this course 9th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996.
Quail Hollow Golf Club
Quail Hollow Golf Club, located at the base of the Boise foothills, has been open to the public for almost 25 years. The 18 hole layout provides challenging target golf with breathaking views of the valley.
Ridgecrest Golf Club
Nampa's newest recreational facility is Ridgecrest Golf Course. Ridgecrest is a links style course set in rolling corn fields, with vast areas of water. The course will offer golfing opportunities for all levels of play. Ridgecrest Golf Club is a 27 hole facility with a regulation 18 hole course that can vary from 4900 yds. to 7000 yds. and an executive par 32, 9 hole course that can stretch to almost 2400 yds.
River Birch Golf Course
The 18 -hole "Riverbirch" course at the River Birch Golf Course facility in Star, Idaho features 7,080 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 73 . The course rating is 68.9 and it has a slope rating of 100 on Rye grass. Designed by John Boehm, the Riverbirch golf course opened in 2004. Michael Kastner, PGA manages the course as the Golf Professional.
Shadow Valley Golf Course
